Our Programs

Home Learning Pods

Our small-group learning pods are thoughtfully designed to nurture both social connection and personalized learning, tailored to the unique needs and interests of each child. Families can create their own pods, or we can help form a supportive group aligned with your child's learning journey. Pods typically consist of two to four students and operate on a tiered pricing system. The curriculum is adaptable, spanning the learning levels of all pod members. Sessions can be held at the Sol learning space or at a location chosen by the pod.

One-on-One Support

Our individual homeschool support sessions are carefully customized to meet your child's unique needs and interests. We provide one-on-one support, whether as a long-term solution or a bridge until a suitable learning pod becomes available. This program works collaboratively with your family's other support workers (Behaviour Consultants, SLPs, OTs etc.) and accommodates various funding options such as AFU, Fawkes, Self Design, E-Bus, and others. If you're seeking additional support, we're happy to connect you with professionals currently accepting clients in the area.

Learners are always welcome in the Sol learning space or at a location best suited to your family's needs.

Embark on an unforgettable summer adventure with Sol! Our adventure-based summer camps invite children to explore the stunning natural landscapes of Squamish—wandering through forests, tracing the paths of rivers, discovering hidden lakes, and enjoying the oceanfront. Each day is filled with small hikes, engaging games, music, creative arts and crafts, and plenty of opportunities for hands-on nature exploration. No special skills are required—just a sense of curiosity and a love for old-fashioned fun! Camps are held at various beautiful locations around Squamish and led by two lively camp leaders.

To register, please email info@soloutdoorlearning.ca with your name and phone number, along with your child's name, date of birth, and your preferred camp dates.

*Please note there must be a minimum enrollment of 8 children per camp week for a camp to run

School Programs

Our school outdoor education programs are available for grades K through 9, offering hands-on, nature-focused learning experiences. Typical curricular topics include watersheds, wetlands, reptiles and amphibians, invertebrates, birds, plant and tree identification, wildlife and safety practices, salmon ecology, and responsible environmental stewardship. Each program can be customized to complement current in-class teachings, ensuring a seamless blend of outdoor exploration and curriculum goals.

School programs can run seasonally or throughout the year. While we prioritize teaching in outdoor, place-based settings to foster a deeper connection with nature, sessions can be adapted for indoor learning when necessary.
